In high school, he became interested in backgammon after receiving a birthday present from a friend. Since late 2024, they have gotten seriously into it, and now they are steadily honing their skills day by day—playing repeated matches, for example, with Yuta Takimiya (G2). Their favorite players are Dirk Schiemann and Thomas Kristensen.

“My achievements and experience don’t come close to those of the other participants, but my heart is racing at this precious opportunity to sit across the board from the players I’ve long admired. Over these four days, I want to absorb as much as possible—if even just one more thing—of the top players’ thinking and technique, and use it to fuel my own growth.”

 

高校時代、友人から贈られた誕生日プレゼントをきっかけにバックギャモンに興味を持つ。2024年末から本格的にのめり込み、現在は瀧宮悠太さん（G2）と対局を重ねるなど、日々研鑽を積んでいる。好きなプレイヤーは、Dirk SchiemannとThomas Kristensen。
